The Polish International's future has been the subject of much speculation during the January transfer window, with Manchester United and Juventus reportedly keen to land the prolific frontman.

However, the striker admits he never expected to leave Signal Iduna Park in January, but refuses to commit to the club beyond the end of the season.

"I knew I wouldn't leave Borussia this winter, that is why I kept my distance from most of the news," the 24-year-old told Przeglad Sportowy. "I might have been nervous if that was my only source of information."

Regarding his Dortmund future, Lewandowski added: "I can't answer that question. Everything is possible. I'm not ruling out any possibility right now."

Lewandowski joined Die Borussen from Lech Poznań in 2010 and has won two Bundesliga titles and one DFB-Pokal Cup during his time at Dortmund.
