The Magpies head to north London on Saturday on the back of a 3-2 victory against the Blues at St. James' Park this past weekend.
French trio Mathieu Debuchy, Yoan Gouffran and Moussa Sissoko have all made a significant impact for the Toon since their move on Tynseside.
With his side now on a two-game winning streak ahead of their clash with Spurs, Pardew believes there will be no repeat of last season's 5-0 hiding in the corresponding fixture.
"Tottenham is a difficult one, but we are going to go there with renewed vigour - we have some 'je ne sais quoi' in the team - and hopefully get something there," he said.
"Last year when we were flying, it was a real disappointment for us that day. We were well beaten, so we need to put that right."
