The Hammers have not won since they defeated Norwich in December but will have Andy Carroll available to start after the on-loan Liverpool striker made his first appearance in two months from the bench in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Fulham.

Manager Sam Allardyce, who offloaded midfielder Alou Diarra to Rennes on loan for the rest of the season, will also be without goalkeeper Stephen Henderson who joined Ipswich Town on loan.

George McCartney (knee), James Collins (hamstring) and Daniel Potts (head injury) are also all out of contention as the Hammers look to build on their current position of 13th in the standings.

Swansea, who occupy eighth place, some seven points better off than West Ham, will be heavily reliant on Michu in attack with Danny Graham sold to Sunderland on Thursday.

Swans boss Michael Laudrup is also without Neil Taylor and Kemy Agustien with the pair both suffering from ankle problems.
