Italian giants AC Milan have completed the signing of Parma defender Christian Zaccardo, the player has revealed.

The news comes after reported negotiations between the two clubs involved various swap deals, with Milan's Djamel Mesbah and Rodney Strasser moving to Ennio Tardini in permanent and loan deals respectively.
Zaccardo spoke of his great pride in joining the Rosseneri, and feels he has a lot to give the Italian side due to his vast experience in the Serie A.
The former Italy international told Milan's official TV channel: "I am proud to have joined Milan. The negotiations started a few weeks ago and now I am here.
"I can play in the centre of defence or at full-back and I will give my best. I am 31 and I come here after playing a lot of matches in Serie A."
"I know some of the players and I will meet the rest on Friday," he added.
Milan currently lie sixth in the Serie A table, and travel to Atalanta on Sunday in the hope of improving their league form.
