The Gunners won 3-1 when the teams met in October to stretch their unbeaten run to 10 against the Hammers.

Arsene Wenger's side will be hoping for another positive result against their cross-town rivals following their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday.

Theo Walcott, who recently signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal at the Emirates, should provide the fire-power up front and will be eager to add to his current haul of nine league goals.

Francis Coquelin (hamstring) and Tomas Rosicky (calf) miss out for the north Londoners, who are able to call upon Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after the duo overcame their respective illnesses.

Mikel Arteta (calf) is ahead of schedule in his recovery and has an outside chance of making the match-day squad.

West Ham started the season strongly, but have hit a mid-season slump, winning just once in their last seven top-flight outings.

They have also failed to score on the road since Andy Carroll netted against Tottenham on November 25.

Fortunately, Sam Allardyce's men have no new injury concerns with only James Collins still unavailable due to an ongoing hamstring problem.
