Queens Park Rangers have confirmed the departure of striker Djibril Cisse to Qatari outfit Al Gharafa on loan until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements by QPR manager Harry Redknapp following the recent acquisition of another Frenchman in the shape of Loic Remy.
Cisse has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops this season, but managed to find the net just four times.
The former Liverpool frontman signed for the London club in January 2012, making the switch from Italian side Lazio for an undisclosed fee.
The Arles-born player also counts Panathinaikos, Sunderland (loan), Marseille, and Auxerre amongst his former clubs.
