The Canaries must be fresh out of ideas when it comes to the Reds as Brendan Rodgers' side also eased to a 5-2 victory at Carrow Road four months ago.
Both sides had chances to take the lead in an even opening 15 minutes with Stewart Downing heading Luis Suarez's pinpoint-cross wide, before Ryan Bennett headed Robert Snodgrass' free-kick straight at a grateful Brad Jones in the Liverpool goal.
The home side began to get on top though and deservedly took the lead in the 26th minute when Jordan Henderson sent a superb shot past Mark Bunn.
Ten minutes later Daniel Sturridge cleverly dummied the ball which allowed Suarez, who scored a hat-trick at Carrow Road in September, to bury a shot past the Canaries goalkeeper.
The second half continued in a similar vein as Liverpool continued to dictate proceedings and they scored goals at regular intervals.
Just before the hour mark, the revitalised Downing sent in a cross that was turned into an empty net from two yards out by Sturridge.
It was more of the same in the 66th minute, as a sweet Liverpool move ended with Steven Gerrard lashing a thunderbolt past the hapless Bunn and into the bottom-left corner.
With 16 minutes left, Norwich's afternoon was summed up when substitute Raheem Sterling's shot deflected off Bennett before nestling in the back of the net.
