The Hammers sit in 11th place on 26 points and have struggled in the Premier League of late.

They've only won once in their last five matches, a 2-1 win at home to Norwich City on New Year's Day.

Andy Carroll and Yossi Benayoun (both knee) look set to miss the weekend's clash, while fellow attacker Modibo Maiga is at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Mali.

Mark Noble is expected to return to the line-up and should partner Mohamed Diame and Kevin Nolan in central midifield.

Carlton Cole looks a certainty to start upfront with Joe Cole and Ricardo Vaz Te providing width on the wings.

Meanwhile, QPR are currently favourites to go down this term, unless Harry Redknapp can pull off a miracle.

The Hoops are rock bottom in the standings and have won just twice in the top-flight this term.

With much of the R's frontline suffering long-term injuries, new signing Loic Remy may be thrust straight into the starting line-up.

Bobby Zamora (hip), Andy Johnson (knee) and Junior Hoilett (hamstring) are all out for an extended period, while Djibril Cisse may be benched due to the uncertainty over his future.

Recently named Toronto FC manager, Ryan Nelsen is still at QPR and should start at Upton Park.

Yet, it is still uncertain when the veteran defender will begin his term in charge of the Major League Soccer outfit.

Aditionally, Samba Diakite is away on AFCON duty, while the influential Esteban Granero is still nursing a hamstring and is doubtful.

West Ham triumphed 2-1 when the two sides met at Loftus Road earlier in the season.
