Belhanda's participation at AFCON had been in doubt earlier this week after he pulled up with a torn muscle during training.
But news coming out of the Morocco camp is that the Montpellier midfielder will be fit by the time the Atlas Lions play their first match of the tournament this coming Saturday evening.
"Belhanda had a medical test that showed his injury was not dangerous, and he will back to train with the entire team next Tuesday and he will be ready for our match against Angola," team doctor Abd Al Razek Haifaty is reported as saying by SuperSport.
The north Africans stepped up their preparations with a 2-1 win over Namibia in a friendly match played on Saturday evening in Johannesburg. On Tuesday they will play another warm-up game, against Bidvest Wits.
Morocco are in Group A, along with Angola, Cape Verde and hosts South Africa.
They won the continental showpiece in 1976 and finished as runners-up in 2004.
