Defending champions Chelsea, who booked their place courtesy a 5-1 hammering of Southampton on Saturday, will travel to League Two outfit Southend United or League One side Brentford.
City, who beat Watford 3-0 on Saturday, will face either Premier League rivals Stoke City or Championship side Crystal Palace while their neighbours Manchester United will be at home against either Fulham or Blackpool, provided they see off West Ham in their replay.
Arsenal are also set for a replay against Swansea with the winners setting up a clash against Brighton and Hove Albion, who beat Premier League side Newcastle United 2-0, away from home.
The Gunners' north London rivals Tottenham will take on either Leeds United or Birmingham City while Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton is handed a trip to Norwich City following their shock 1-0 win over Championship side Wolves.
The ties will be played on the weekend of January 26-27.
