Moyes: Working wonders at Everton

Everton will be heavy favourites to progress in the FA Cup when they travel to Whaddon Road to face League Two side Cheltenham Town in the third round on Monday.

The Toffees have been in sublime form this season, with Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Newcastle leaving them fifth in the Premier League standings and just three points behind third.

The Robins, though, are also flying high, albeit in England's fourth tier, although a shock defeat to Oxford United on New Year's Day prevented them from climbing to third on the table.

However, that loss marked only their second defeat in their last eight matches in all competitions, although David Moyes' men have lost just one of their last nine league games.

On the team front, Everton will have to do without injured duo Darron Gibson (thigh) and Tony Hibbert (calf), although Moyes could be ready to reshuffle his pack, given the heavily congested fixture list over the last few weeks.

Cheltenham will again be relying on top scorer Shaun Harrard for the goals, the striker having found the back of the net seven times this season.

Connor Roberts could face his former club, having left Goodison Park at the end of last season, although first-choice goalkeeper Scott Brown has played every game so far this term.
