The first leg sees Real host the Red Devils at the Bernabeu on February 13, with the return match taking place at Old Trafford on March 5.

Ronaldo has been at Los Blancos Real for three seasons, having made his name during a six-year spell with the Red Devils.

The Portuguese international has only fond memories of his time in Manchester and has great respect for manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

It is for this reason that any celebrations will be muted.

"I will not celebrate my goal if I manage to score at Manchester United," the 27-year-old said after Thursday's draw.

"[Ferguson is] a fantastic person. A human person. He taught me many things," Ronaldo told The Sun.

"Like I said before, he's like a father in football. I really miss him and my relationship with him."
