This goes back to last season when City imposed a fine of £340,000 for his misconduct on the field.
The Italy international picked up three red cards and missed 11 matches of last season's campaign - enough to provoke the ire of the Citizens' management.
The 22-year-old was set to appeal the case at the Premier League tribunal on Wednesday but dropped the appeal at the last moment and will now pay up.
A brief statement from City today read: "After amicable talks between the parties, as a sign of respect for Roberto Mancini, the supporters and the club, Mario Balotelli has chosen to accept a two-week fine levied upon him by the club and withdraw his disciplinary appeal, which was due to be heard by a Premier League panel today.
"Mario remains available for selection for all forthcoming fixtures."
