Chelsea midfielder Oscar has defended his side's performance during their Club World Cup final defeat to Corinthians, but admits the Brazilian outfit "deserved to win".

Paolo Guerrero struck the game's only goal midway through the second half, with Timao lifting the title for the second time in their history, the first coming at the turn of the millennium.
Speaking after the match, Brazil international Oscar told Rede Globo: "I didn't think we lacked effort, this happens.
"The whole of the Chelsea team need to learn how to play decisive games like this.
"Chelsea wanted this title so much, we have been training a lot in London for this competition. But defeat happens. Corinthians played well and deserved to win.
"It was a good game, we just didn't create as much as usual, Cassio made some great saves and Corinthians scored when they had the chance."
