The 18-year-old is being linked with several top clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United, but the Reds are keen to tie him down at Anfield.
Rodgers claims not to be worried over talk that the England international is on his way out of the club.
"No, I'm not at all concerned," he said. "That will be resolved I'm sure, fairly soon.
"He's a kid who has got this special ability so that no matter what is going on, he doesn't get too involved with it.
"He focuses on his football. Hopefully, it stays that way."
