The left-back was taken off in the first half of the Reds' 3-2 victory over West Ham at the weekend after he felt a tweak in his hamstring.
While the substitution seemed to be precautionary, the Spaniard is unsure if he'll be available for the clash against the Villans.
"I am OK but I don't know if I'll be ready for the game," he told the club's official website. "It's nothing bad but I don't know if I'll be able to play.
"I've had some treatment and then we will see. I hope I can be fit for the game."
Enrique was struggling with a knee injury earlier in the season, that saw him fall out of favour, until he was brought back in a more advanced role.
It seemed to have brought out the best in the former Newcastle man, as he quickly re-established himself at the club.
