Turner has been a conspicuous absentee from the Canaries line-up for the last four games, but now is back in contention having recovered from a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, Steven Whittaker and the impressive Wes Hoolahan are doubtful with hip and groin niggles respectively and will face late fitness tests ahead of the encounter. Alexander Tettey and Ryan Bennett remain sidelined.

Villa manager Paul Lambert will have to do without Ashley Westwood as the midfielder is cup-tied.

Relative newcomer Karim El Ahmadi is set to take Westwood's place while skipper and centre-back Ron Vlaar is struggling to make his return from a calf injury following three games out.

The teams drew 1-1 in their Premier League encounter at Villa Park earlier in the season with the returning Turner scoring a late equaliser for Chris Hughton's side in that match.
