A Jordan Henderson goal was enough for Liverpool to book their progression to the Europa League round of 32 with victory over Udinese.

Brendan Rodgers named a strong starting line-up with Luis Suarez starting an away Europa League game for Liverpool for the first time, as the manager searched for the win they needed to assure their progress.
Udinese had the first chance of the game when Mathias Ranegie headed wide on 16 minutes with Pepe Reina rooted to the spot, and then Roberto Pereyra tested the Liverpool goalkeeper just moments later.
But on 23 minutes Liverpool got the only goal of the game through Henderson. Suarez's mis-directed header from a corner was rescued by Suso and he set up Henderson, with the midfielder drilling the ball home through a crowd of bodies inside the area.
Henderson almost got a second on 65 minutes when his side-foot volley was tipped over by former Reds keeper Daniele Padelli and then the Udinese shot-stopper pulled off a wonder-save three minutes later to stop Suarez after the Reds forward had twisted past two defenders.
Udinese's hopes of getting back into the game were dashed when Giovanni Pasquale was shown a red card on 79 minutes.
The defender had been booked on 67 minutes after fouling Suso and then he took down Raheem Sterling when out-done by clever play by the teenager.
Liverpool looked to hold out the game but it was hearts-in-mouth time in added on moments as Antonio Di Natale blasted a shot millimetres over the bar with the last kick of the game.
