The Brazilian striker was involved in a protracted transfer saga during the off-season, which finally came to an end when he signed for the Russian giants for £40million in early September.
The 26-year-old's latest comments, after a recent bust-up with Zenit manager Spaletti, has alerted the attention of European superpowers with Chelsea and AC Milan appearing to lead the race for the robust forward's signature.
"I feel well in St Petersburg, my family is happy and my son too," he told Mediaset Premium Calcio.
"But if the situation with Luciano Spalletti doesn't improve, I might leave in January. I don't know if Italy will be my destination, but anything can happen."
Spalletti responded to Hulk's comments, insisting that he has the final say on squad choices.
"He can say what he wants," said Spalletti. "He can be disappointed, but if I substitute him it is because I am not satisfied with his performance.
"Has he said he wants to go? I don't know what to do about that. I'm staying here."
