Andre Villas-Boas has expressed his fears that Tottenham may struggle to hold onto Gareth Bale following his heroics against Liverpool.

The Wales international was instrumental in both of Spurs' goals, setting up Aaron Lennon's opener before scoring the second from a free-kick in the 2-1 defeat of the Reds at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
La Liga arch-rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the 23-year-old's signature, and Villas-Boas is concerned that his departure may be unavoidable.
"At the moment he is performing extremely well for Spurs and we are amazed at what he can do for us. He is on to a great career," said the Portuguese tactician.
"Obviously Tottenham as a football club want to keep him here for as long as we can but we understand players like this have propositions and a market, which is the nature of the game."
Bale signed a new four-year contract in June but this may not be enough to keep him at the north London club.
