The Chipololo won the African Nations Cup for the first time in their history when they beat Ivory Coast in the final of the continental showpiece in February.
Cape Verde shocked the footballing world when they also made history by qualifying for AFCON 2013 with victory over Cameroon.
Meanwhile, the Central African Republic beat Egpypt in an AFCON qualifier while also claiming their first World Cup qualifying victory ever.
