The Red Devils went behind against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday before going on to record a 3-1 win at Old Trafford.

It was the ninth occasion that United had rescued the situation after going a goal down, but more importantly they had now conceded first an incredible 13 times in the new campaign.

Lindegaard acknowledges it is a problem that needs serious attention as Sir Alex Ferguson's side could find themselves off the pace in the title race during a hectic festive period if they continue leaking goals.

"We should be concerned. It is a bad habit," said the Denmark international. "We have to look at it.

"I just asked one of my team-mates afterwards, 'what would have happened if we hadn't conceded a goal?' It was like a wake-up call.

"It is a bad feeling to have conceded a goal in this match. It is very disappointing."
