The Old Lady produced a scintillating display to outplay the European champions at Juventus Stadium on Tuesday evening, but have not yet guaranteed their place in the last 16.
And Conte is insistent on guarding against complacency.
"We hope our best game is yet to come. First we'll think about getting through to the knockout stages, an important step to consolidate ourselves on the European stage, from a financial point of view and also for Italy," the former Bianconeri midfielder was quoted as saying on the Juventus website.
The 43-year-old has also stated his desire to narrow the gap between Juve and the world's wealthiest clubs.
"We need to improve and continue to grow, because there's too much of a divide between the Italian game and football in other countries.
"With teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich or Chelsea, there's no contest on an economic level, but we have ideas, organization, heart and legs."
Juventus take on AC Milan on Sunday looking to consolidate their lead at the top of Serie A.
