The FA are currently assessing the remarks made in Williams' book My Premier League Diary, in which the Wales captain said: "Suarez dived more than any other player I've played against before.
"It was so bad I was genuinely shocked. Throughout the game, he just dived down and screamed at any given moment.
"Suarez has that aura about him that says, 'I'm untouchable', and his manner and behaviour made me want to knock him out.
"I'd go as far as to say that the manner in which he approached the game, with utter contempt for us all, means that he's streets ahead of any player I've truly disliked since I've been in the Premier League.
"The sad thing is that he's a brilliant player and I rate him very highly, but he just possesses this temperament that I can't stand to see in a fellow footballer.
"Having played against him twice now I just have to say that I don't like the bloke. Basically I have no time for the guy at all."
English football's governing body are likely to ask Williams to clarify his comments, as they have done on previous occasions when dealing with controversial opinions in autobiographies and memoirs.
