Juve will be playing on home soil against the defending champions, who they trail by one point in Group E.

The Bianconeri currently sit in third place behind Shakhtar and the Blues, but will be hoping to leap-frog the pair and claim top spot.

Bendtner has made only two starts out of his seven appearances for the Serie A club, but is hoping he will be able to make an impact in midweek.

"I have come to one of, if not the, the biggest club in Italy to win something, to play and to score goals," said the 26-year-old striker.

Bendtner has also been on loan with Birmingham and Sunderland, having joined Arsenal in 2005.

When asked about a move back to the Gunners, he said: "You can never rule anything out but I am focusing on my career here and I'll see where that takes me."
