The Gunners, who have gone unbeaten in their last three games in all competitions, currently sit second in Group B, one point behind leaders Schalke and one ahead of Olympiacos.

It means three points for the north Londoners should guarantee their place in the knockout stages, but only if the Greek side are unable to take a positive result against the German giants.

In team news, Arsene Wenger's men are currently plagued by injury, with Abou Diaby, Lukasz Fabianski, Gervinho, Kieran Gibbs and Tomas Rosicky all out.

Theo Walcott, who scored Arsenal's fifth goal in their 5 -2 win over Tottenham over the weekend, is also sidelined due to a shoulder injury.

Ex-La Paillade striker and 'ast term's Ligue 1 leading goal-scorer Olivier Giroud is set to face his former employers.

The striker has great form of late, scoring his seventh goal of the 2012/13 campaign against Spurs.

The French champions, meanwhile, have had a disappointing start to the season and currently lie 16th in their domestic standings.

However, they are boosted by the return of star midfielder Younes Belhanda, who is back from suspension.
