Fabregas: Keen for midfield armada

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas feels that manager Tito Vilanova can accommodate all the Spanish midfielders into the same starting XI.

Fabregas had been frustrated earlier in the season when he was kept on the bench in favour of Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta.

Vilanova, who replaced Pep Guardiola at the Nou Camp over the off-season, has preferred rotating the midfield trio in various games.

Fabregas has since seen more game-time for Barca, although he would prefer none of his compatriots have to make way to accomodate him.

"I am playing a lot, giving everything, I am motivated and I am happy with my performances," he told ESPN.

"Can we all play together? Well, we won a World Cup and Euro Championship together. I do not see a problem.

"But Tito is the one who must decide. We have players who can come in and refresh the team and it always goes well."

The trio could get the chance to take the field together in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League group tie against Spartak Moscow.

Vilanova might look to shift Iniesta out wide in place of injured winger Alexis Sanchez.

The European clash also offers the Spanish giants the opportunity to reunite first-choice back-four Dani Alves, Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba for only the second time this season.

Fabregas believes that Puyol's return from a dislocated elbow will be the biggest boost.

"We consider him vital, he is the captain," the midfielder said. "He never accepts he is beaten, he always wants to improve."
