Former England international David Beckham has confirmed he will leave Los Angeles Galaxy after next month's Major Soccer League Cup in order to search out "one last challenge".

The world footballing icon joined Galaxy from Real Madrid in 2007 but has opted to bring an end to his association with the club.
He will, however, be looking to sign off in style as the American outfit hope to successfully defend their cup title against Houston Dynamo on December 1.
"I've had an incredibly special time playing for the LA Galaxy, however, I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career," he told the league's official website.
"I don't see this as the end of my relationship with the league as my ambition is to be part of the ownership structure in the future."
The former Manchester United playmaker has been strongly tipped with a move to the Australia's A League.
