The France international was instrumental in Los Blancos' 5-1 demolition of Athletic Bilbao at the weekend, scoring once while playing a hand in two of his side's other goals.
But despite what was a shining performance against the Europa League's losing finalists, the 24-year-old has said he can and will do even better in the future.
"I can't say if it was the most complete game because I have had other more decisive matches in the past," he told AS.
"But the most important thing is that, after my injury, I felt very good physically. After 15 days out I needed to feel the pleasure of playing again.
"My best game is still to come! What's important is that the great Real Madrid of last season have returned."
