The England international is currently in the last 12 months of his deal at the Emirates Stadium, although talks over an extension have so far stalled.

That has resulted in plenty of speculation regarding the winger's future, but Wenger says he has no intention of parting ways with Walcott, who netted the fifth in the Gunners' 5-2 thrashing of rivals Tottenham on Saturday.

Asked if he would sell Walcott in January, the Frenchman simply replied: "No."

When pressed on whether the midfielder would see out the season with Arsenal, he added: "Yes."

Wenger had already revealed a December deadline for tying down the star player, and backed that up by saying: "We continue in a positive way. I told you many times we have until the end of December to sort this out."
