City were recently linked with a move for Luis Suarez, although the club have rubbished reports claiming that they are lining up a £50million bid for the Liverpool ace.
There has also been talk of Mario Balotelli's possible exit in January as the controversial striker struggles to secure a regular starting berth at Eastlands.
Added to the player buzz, Mancini is rumoured to be considering a move to French outfit Monaco.
Mancini, who gave the pre-and-post match press conferences for last week's clash with Tottenham a miss, addressed reporters ahead of Saturday's visit of Aston Villa.
The Italian, tiring of all the speculation, said: "It is not true, I don't know.
"For two weeks we talk about Monaco, after (Pep) Guardiola, after another manager, now Suarez, now Mario (Balotelli).
"We have a good team and we don't need to buy another player in January.
"We can't buy Suarez or another player because we have four strikers and Suarez plays for Liverpool."
