The Dutchman joined the Cottagers on a two-year deal in 2011, with the option of another 12 months, and following his impressive results the London outfit have moved to extend his stay.

Jol has already confirmed he and the club held contract talks "a month ago or so", and ahead of Saturday's trip to Arsenal the 56-year-old says he is committed to taking the team even further.

"I'm happy to stay," he said.

Fulham are currently eight in the standings, below the Gunners on goal difference after 10 Premier League matches.
