Claudio Pizarro's first-half hat-trick as well as goals from Bastian Schweinsteiger, Toni Kroos and Robben put Bayern on the brink of qualification to the last 16 of the Champions League.
And with speculation surrounding Heynckes' future, who might call time on his career soon, star duo Robben and Ribery have expressed their support for the 67-year-old tactician.
"He's doing a good job, is very kind and talks a lot with the players, giving us a lot of faith," Ribery said.
"I like him as much as (Ottmar) Hitzfeld. He's perfect for me."
Meanwhile, Robben is also hopeful that Heynckes will stay on longer with the Bavarians.
"He is doing a great job," Robben told Sport1.de. "The chemistry between the coach and the players is 100% spot on.
"If the coach is fit and healthy then he should carry on."
