United edged Braga 3-2 at Old Trafford last time out, the English giants coming from two goals down to claim all three points and make it three wins from three games.

The Red Devils also make the trip on a high having claimed top spot in the Premier League over the weekend with a 2-0 win at home against Arsenal.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has no new injury concerns, although midfielders Darren Fletcher and Paul Scholes were both excluded from the travelling party.

However, teenager Nick Powell cracked the nod, along with defender Chris Smalling, who could make his long-awaited first appearance of the season after a lengthy absence due to a broken metatarsal

Phil Jones (back and knee), Nemanja Vidic and Shinji Kagawa (both knee) all remain sidelined.

Os Arcebispos, meanwhile, occupy third place in Group H with three points from their opening three fixtures.

Josť Peseiro will have a full-strength squad at his disposal, with Braga's top scorer this season Eder set to continue up front alongside Barbosa.
