The west Londoners are rock bottom in the standings after losing six of their opening nine league games, having drawn the remaining three.

They recently broke a three-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Everton, but followed it up with a 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.

The 18th-placed Royals, meanwhile, aren't faring much better, having also failed to record a victory in the top flight this term.

Both teams will be desperate to pick up all three points at Loftus Road this weekend with seven draws between them.

In team news, QPR skipper Park Ji-Sung is a major doubt with a knee injury, which has prevented him from taking part in training this week.

Striker Bobby Zamora is also struggling to shake off a hip problem, while left-back Armand Traore could miss out with a leg injury.

Hoops manager Mark Hughes must do without Stephane Mbia as well as the defender starts a three-match suspension for his red card against the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Reading boss Brian McDermott has no new injury concerns ahead of the Sunday's encounter.

Danny Guthrie continues to be sidelined with a thigh strain, while fellow midfielder Jem Karacan is ruled out until December at least with a knee problem.
