Dikwena have remained in touch with the Premiership's current top-two, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, but saw their raid on the summit halted following a 1-0 defeat to the Buccaneers last week.

The Rustenburg-based outfit did, however, follow up that loss with a Nedbank Cup last-32 victory over Dynamos this past weekend, and Malokase is now looking to shift the focus back to the PSL, where they sit five points behind leaders Amakhosi.

"The Nedbank Cup victory honeymoon is over, it's back to the league campaign where we want to reduce the gap between Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and ourselves by beating AmaTuks," he told The Sowetan.

"They will go back to Pretoria without even a single point. However, AmaTuks are a good side, we expect a tough battle after they were defeated 1-0 by SuperSport United in a midweek match."

Dinaledi coach Cavin Johnson has also been delighted with his side's showing this season, and believes his squad have enough quality to challenge at the top.

"We have a two-to-three year plan and maybe we are a little ahead of schedule. But we can compete with Chiefs and Bucs and we will soldier on," the coach said.
