Robin Gnagne scored in the 71st minute from the penalty spot to give the hosts the victory.
The visitors played with 10 men after defender Tetteh Nortey was sent off for impeding a Hearts player en-route to scoring just minutes before the half-time break.
King Faisal pressed hard for an equaliser late on in the game but just could not beat the stubborn defence of Hearts.
Prior to this match, Hearts just won one of their last eight league encounters.
