Abia Nale has dismissed talk that his loan move to Ajax Cape Town from Kaizer Chiefs is not in the best interests of his career.

With regular first-team action at Naturena by no means assured, Nale jumped at the chance of a temporary relocation to the Cape for the second-half of the Premiership season.
And while the status that comes with playing for the PSL leaders Amakhosi far outweighs that of turning out for the struggling Urban Warriors, the Soweto-born midfielder isn't letting his critics get to him.
"Life is unpredictable and life is also full of surprises. It's not a train smash that I'm here, it was my choice because I had to do something to get my career back on track," Nale told Football411.
"I do not look at this move as a step back, but it is rather a step forward because if I put my mind to the fact that Ajax is smaller than Chiefs than I will find myself in a difficult situation because I will tend to relax and not work hard.
"So being here for me is more like at Chiefs because it's all about working hard."
The 26-year-old also shrugged off reports that he was also considering offers from Durban rivals AmaZulu and Golden Arrows, saying: "Just like you I read it in the newspapers. Maybe there was interest but it something I wasn't aware off or made to be aware off.
"The only thing I knew is I approached Chiefs wanting a move to Ajax for I had looked at their professionalism and the opportunity the club provides.
"I can't say I don't want to go to AmaZulu or Arrows because if the chance avails it maybe next season I may end up there, like I said earlier, life is unpredictable.
"I want to focus on what I'm here for at the moment and that is to work hard, to play regularly and try to be recognised nationally and internationally."
