Maritzburg United booked their place in the next round of the Nedbank Cup as they saw off University of Pretoria 4-2 on penalties in the last-32 on Saturday.

The teams could not be separated after 120 minutes of action at the Tuks Stadium, with Cuthbert Malajila firing home the winning spot-kick in the shoot-out.
David Radebe successfully converted the opening penalty kick for AmaTuks in the shoot-out, although Delron Buckley replied in kind for the Team of Choice.
Mamadou Niang was next up for the home side but saw Shu-Aib Walters save his effort, while Mohammad Awal put Ernst Middendorp's men in front.
Thokozani Sekotlong then fired his effort wide of the mark as Terrance Mandaza put United 3-1 up, and although Aubrey Ngoma was able to successful convert, Malajila made no mistake to put his side through.
