The Egyptian Football Association arranged the clash, which came about as a result of their close relationship with the Qatari FA, but El Sayed insists the match will not benefit the seven-time Africa Cup of Nations champions.
The Pharaohs face Nigeria in an international friendly on the 26th of February before taking on Zimbabwe in a 2014 World Cup qualifier on March 22, ahead of a return tie in June.
He told SuperSport: "We don't need this match, it will not be good for us.
"We asked to play a friendly match against a second level team from Africa and we picked Kenya or Swaziland.
"This is what we need before our match against Zimbabwe. Those game fall on a FIFA day so we can call all our players but that will not be the case for the Qatar match."
