While new Clever Boys boss Clive Barker endured a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bloemfontein Celtic last time out, the Chilli Boys picked up their third win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Black Leopards.

New Chippa coach Wilfred Mugeyi admitted his side were "scared to lose the lead" in that game and will hope his side can put in a much more confident performance this week.

Leading up to this match, though, Chippa assistant coach Humphrey Sithole says his side are now eyeing a top-eight finish.

"Our aim is to get a top-eight finish," he told the Sowetan.

"The win over Leopards was a massive relief for all of us. It has given us confidence and hope going forward.

"You will never fail if you are well prepared in life. There is no turning back."

Sithole added: "The good thing is that the players are beginning to understand the philosophy of coach Wilfred. Give us two more games, Chippa United will be unstoppable."

Chippa come into this game in 14th place with 16 points, while Wits are currently in ninth with 22 points.
