Isaacs made it public during the mid-season break that he wanted to leave the Clever Boys and return home, but with Barker arriving earlier this year his situation changed.
Isaacs hardly started a match under former coach Antonio Lopez but is set to be a regular under the wily Barker.
"Fortunes have turned in a sort of way, but I have set myself the target of reaching certain goals by the end of the season," Isaacs told the Wits website.
"I will know when I am feeling like I have reached top form because the match against Leopards was not one of my best games even though I scored," he said of the 2-0 win against Lidoda Duvha last week.
"Obviously he (Clive Barker) knows that it is not easy for Cape Town boys to come here and to play because it is difficult. He was talking nicely to me. I told him that if I got an opportunity then I will produce in every game that I play.
"I know what I can do on the field of play and I believe. I am a big believer, I have faith. He said I must keep working hard at training and show people what I can do."
