The 33-year-old's contract with Amakhosi will expire at the end of June, with the club having yet to approach him regarding an extension.

He moved to Chiefs from Mamelodi Sundowns in January 2009 and over four years later, 'JD' says he is doing everything possible to stay on at the club.

"I don't know at this stage what the future holds for me, but I'm concentrating on my game at the moment and the management, obviously, will decide if I'm still worth it and all of that. My performance will obviously tell them if they have to renew my contract," said Dladla.

"Like I said I'm concentrating on my game and whatever that they do is beyond my control. If I get a chance to go out there I will show the coach that I want to be here."

Dladla has started nine matches in all competitions for the Glamour Boys this season, including the goalless draw against his former team on Tuesday night in Pretoria.

Meanwhile, Chiefs have finalised talks with Tefu Mashamaite with the player expected to put pen to paper soon and they are negotiating with Bernard Parker, Jimmy Tau and Reneilwe Letsholonyane over new contracts.
