Annan aggravated an ankle injury in the match against the DR Congo on January 20th, and has been receiving treatment ever since.
This is the midfielder's fourth AFCON tournament and he is eager to start for the Black Stars, having finally recovered.
"I got injured when we played the friendly game against Egypt before we came here (South Africa), so I think now I'm improving," Annan said of the training camp they held in Abu Dhabi.
"I'm going to do my best to train very hard. I hope there will be no injury again and all the pains will go so that I will be able to play the coming games. So, all will depend on the coach who will decide which players will want to play.
"I'm there, I will train and I will do my best and I will make sure that I will be injury free."
Kickoff is at 8:30pm at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
