The Harambee Stars are currently bottom of qualifying in Group F after drawing one and losing the other of their opening two matches, while their next qualifier comes against big hitters Nigeria on March 22.

Kenya are without a head coach following Henry Michel's departure, although Adel Amrouche has been strongly tipped as his replacement and is expected to travel with the squad this week.

They will, however, be without KRC Genk midfielder Ayub Timbe Masika, who joins Brian Mandela and McDonald Mariga in withdrawing from the squad.

That means Dennis Oliech, David Gateri and Victor Wanyama are set to come in as replacements.

Libya, meanwhile, are currently top of World Cup qualifying in Group I after winning one and drawing the other of their opening two encounters.

The Mediterranean Knights are next in qualifying action against the Democratic Republic of Congo in March, and will be looking to maintain their fine run of form, having gone unbeaten in their last three international matches.
