The Amavubi Stars' next qualifier comes against Mali towards the end of March, with coach Milutin Sredojovic looking to sharpen his side as they currently sit bottom of qualifying in Group H.
A big blow for them is the absence of Elias Uzamukunda as the AS Cannes striker is struggling with a leg injury, although Mbuyu Twite and Haruna Niyonzima, skipper Olivier Karekezi, Solomon Nirisarike and Jessy Reindorf are all available.
The Cranes, recently crowned Cecafa champions, also have a 2014 qualifier to look forward to next month as they take on Liberia in a Group J encounter.
Uganda are currently second in the standings with two points from two games, while Liberia sit bottom with just one point.
Uganda coach Bobby Williamson has named Simeon Masaba as his captain for this week's tie, with Hassan Wasswa taking up the vice-skipper's role due to usual captain Andy Mwesigwa's omission from the team.
