Mohamed Koffi: Did well in defence to marshal the Zambia attack, while also used his height well in the aerial challenges. 6/10
Djakaridja Kone: Commanded the backline and was easily able to deal with the height and strength of the Zambian attack. 7/10

Paul Koulibaly: Showed good movement and vision in the midfield and was also full of running when called on in the defence. 7/10
Alain Traore: Saw his afternoon come to an end after just 10 minutes following an injury. N/A
Jonathan Pitroipa: Proved Burkina Faso's main threat in attack but was unable to find the finish necessary to take any of his numerous chances. 7/10
Saidou Panandetiguiri: Overcame a slow start to eventually make an impact for his side, although his final pass was lacking as the Zambian defence showed plenty of pace.
Wilfreid Benjamin Balima: Was unable to make much of an impact in the first-half, and was ultimately substituted just after the break. 4/10
Charles Kabore: Showed good vision going forward and produced a couple of determined runs, but was unable to find a way past Kennedy Mweene. 6/10

Zambia:
Kennedy Mweene: Used his height to great advantage and produced a characteristic dominant display between the sticks. 7/10

Hijani Himoonde: Produced a solid defensive display as he matched the Burkina Faso forwards stride for stride from the first whistle until the last. 6/10
Davies Nkausu: Was unfortunately injured in the opening stages of the game and was unable to effect the outcome. N/A

Stophira Sunzu: Played a solid game in the midfield and did well to hold up play as the Burkinabes opted for possession over attack. 7/10
Rainford Kalaba: Only came into the game late on in the second-half, but produced some excellent crosses into the area from open play and set-pieces. 6/10
Emmanuel Mbola: Produced some decent deliveries into the area and won his side a couple of free-kicks in promising positions, but was lacking with the final ball. 6/10
Nathan Sinkala: Looked sluggish at times and didn't see as much of the ball as he would have wanted, although did show moments of inventiveness in the final third. 6/10
Emmanuel Mayuka: Looked Zambia's brightest prospect and continuously harried the opposition defence with some darting runs both on and off the ball. 8/10
Substitutes:
Joseph Musonda: Played a solid defensive match after coming on as an early substitute, coping well with the threat down the wings and through the middle. 7/10
Mukuka Mulenga: Was given 35 minutes in which to show his talents, but looked jaded at times after coming into a very tightly-nit game of football. 5/10
Jonas Sakuwaha: Was only given around 10 minutes in which to try and change the game, and came close after the ball fell kindly for him in the area, but snatched at his shot which ballooned up into the area to allow the defence to clear. 5/10
