The Indomitable Lions are third in Group I of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers with three points from two games, after beating DR Congo and losing to group leaders Libya, who have four points.

Cameroon coach Jean-Paul Akono is preparing a squad for their next qualifier against Togo, while they are next in international action against Tanzania in Dar-es-Salaam on February 6.

Assou-Ekotto had previously revealed he did not want to play for his country due to the poor management of the team, but the coach appears to have changed the Tottenham man's mind.
