Toure and regular captain Didier Drogba started from the bench for the Group D match, but the starting XI did not disappoint as the Elephants won 3-0.
"We have such great players in Ivory Coast, it's very important to give them a chance to play and the guys that came into the team were unbelievable," the Manchester City defender told BBC Sport about the rotation policy that coach Sabri Lamouchi is using.
"We played as a group. In the first game we won but didn't play very well. But against Tunisia it was a great, great game, the players who played, played as a unit and were really good.
"Collectively I think that's one of our best games, we played together and we had focus from the beginning to the end, that's our quality.
"We always have players who can make a difference in every game; although I can't say we are unbeatable, we have a much better chance to win the games."
The AFCON favourites are the only team to progress to the quarter-finals compared to Ghana and Nigeria, who have to win their last group match in order to qualify.
Toure added: "The most important thing is that we lift the trophy. It doesn't matter who plays and who doesn't play. We want to go back home with this trophy."
The Ivorians play their last group clash on Wednesday against Algeria, who are already eliminated from the tournament.
