Essaid Belkalem: Did what was required of him on the whole. Was caught napping on occasion, though. 6/10
Djamel Mesbah: The Milan defender got forward well from fullback and defended well when he had to. 7/10
Adlene Guedioura: Was one of his team's best players in an losing effort and passed the ball well in midfield. 7/10
Medhi Lacen: The Skipper got subbed late on but controlled his sides tempo from midfield and was involved in most of their attacks. 7/10
Sofiane Feghouli: Played well in wide positions in the first half but was kept quiet in the second but he worked hard for the full 90 minutes. 7/10
El Arbi Soudani: Had a call for a penalty and probably should have scored in the second half. 6/10
Foued Kadir: Crossed the ball well from set pieces but the Marseille man was wasteful in open play despite getting into some good positions. 6/10
Islam Slimani: Wasted a hat-full of chances throughout the game and was eventually substituted. 5/10
Substitutes
Mohamed Aoudia: Wasn't on the pitch for long enough to influence the game in any significant way. 5/10
Yacine Bezzaz: Was lively when he came on in the second half and created a few chances. 6/10
Togo
Kossi Agassa: Had a superb game between the sticks, made good decisions and played with conviction particularly when come to deal with crosses into the area. Man of the match. 9/10
Serge Akakpo: Defended excellently until he was substituted near the end, kept Slimani quit throughout. 8/10
Moustapha Salifou: Had a good game at fullback and got forward quite well. 7/10
Dare Nibombe: Like the rest of the back four was quite superb particularly at clearing crosses with defensive headers. 8/10
Dakonam Djene: Passed the ball well from the back and kept Fegholi at bay in the second-half. 8/10
Alaixys Romao: Defnede well throughout and rarely gave it away, a solid performance.
Jonathan Ayite: Most of the Sparrow Hawks attacks went through him, and got an assist for the first goal. 8/10
Abdoul-Gafar Mamah: Passed the ball well in midfield and linked up well with Ayite for much of the match, rarely gave the ball away and helped out in defence. A solid performance. 8/10
Komi Amewou: Protected the back four well during the Algerian onslaught in the second half and was the catlyst for some good counter attacks for his team. 8/10
Serge Gakpe: Supported Adebayor well up front and provided some good width in the game. 7/10
Emmanuel Adebayor:The captain scored the games opening goal and his movement up front was excellent, he also held the ball up well and allowed his midfielders to play off him. 8/10
Substitutes
Dove Wome: The Free State Stars man scored a great goal from the bench and was lively for the time he was on the pitch. 7/10
Sapol Mani: Was on the pitch for all of five minutes and maybe touched the ball a couple of times. 5/10
